Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about QR code generation

What is error correction level? Which one should I choose?
Error correction level determines the QR code's ability to be recognized even when partially damaged:
L (7%): Lowest error correction, simplest QR code, suitable for high-quality printing scenarios
M (15%): Recommended, balances error correction and complexity
Q (25%): Higher error correction, suitable for scenarios that may wear
H (30%): Highest error correction, can add Logo in center
What if the generated QR code cannot be recognized?
Please check the following:
• Whether foreground and background colors have sufficient contrast (recommend dark foreground + light background)
• Whether the size is too small (recommend at least 200px)
• Whether content is too long causing overly complex QR code
• Try increasing error correction level (M or Q)
How to generate WiFi connection QR code?
Use specific format: WIFI:T:WPA;S:NetworkName;P:Password;;
Where T is encryption type (WPA, WEP or empty for no password), S is WiFi name, P is password.
Scanning this QR code will automatically pop up WiFi connection prompt on phone.
What size should I choose for QR code?
Depends on usage scenario:
• 128px: Small icons, avatar decoration
• 256px: Web display, screen sharing
• 384px: HD display, presentations
• 512px: Print materials, posters, business cards
For printing, recommend at least 300dpi. For 3cm width QR code, need at least 350px.
Can I add Logo in the center of QR code?
Current version does not support directly adding Logo. If needed, you can:
1. Choose H level error correction (30%), can cover larger area
2. Download generated QR code
3. Use image editing software to add Logo in center
Logo should not be too large, recommend not exceeding 15% of QR code area.
